If you order a brand-new item but receive a return that has been (obviously poorly) refurbished and gets damaged during shipping on top of that ... that's not a misfortune. Except perhaps from the perspective of the seller's lawyer.Your just one global consumer of a high priced luxury audio item who seems inappropriately upset at some unfortunate logistical misfortune.
My experience with online retailers from Asia is that they are either big players and operate according to EU regulations, or sometimes have a rather questionable understanding of consumer rights. Therefore: It's best to pay via PayPal/credit card and, if something goes wrong, don't let the retailer play games for too long, but rather open a paypal case or dispute the credit card charge. This has worked for me.
