My wife has convinced me to sink hard-earned money into a condo on the West Coast near my grandkids (and also nearer @amirm - it's in Bellingham, WA). But the silver lining is - New audio system!

I will need to put a screen and sound system in the space below (it is staged, we will likely have different furniture).

Beginning to regret selling my LS50W, although I have more of a preference for the Revel wide dispersion. I think I'd like to wall-mount tho, as the space is a touch smaller (and less photoshop-illuminated) than it looks in these agent photos.

I use Google TV, mostly. I *might* put in another roon server, but perhaps just live with streaming from Idagio and Tidal.

Perhaps Wiim-->Genelec. But the WAF on the Genelecs is very low, and the need to run power up to the speaker is another cosmetic factor.

Looks pretty awesome. Unfortunately whatever you put in there will make it look worse, but then we all do it. T

here are large format TVs that can work in such bright environment. Not sure about the speakers though. Can you do in walls? Otherwise something clean looking like KEF might work as stand-alone solution. Are subs even an option - they are big and ugly but do the punch that other speakers can't.

Fabulous.

I'd put some JBL 4367 in there, should become discounted now the 4369 is out.

Put them in free space, maybe backing on to the stairs.

Bellingham is a fun town.
It is, and the summer through early fall months are amazing. Much like Maine on the East Coast. This condo is immediately adjacent to the trail system through Whatcom Falls to the Lake, Mt. Galbraith, and down to the 'interurban' trail, which is pretty cool for walking and biking.

Agreed. Fall foliage looks awesome on the nearby Chuckanut Drive. Be mindful of the occasional cold winter winds from the Fraser River Valley - or join your neighbors in visiting somewhere warmer. I believe it is the main reason Allegiant Airlines flies out of the Bellingham airport.

Nice place!

You can just bundle the power and signal wires into one. It should look pretty okay. As for WAF, that is highly subjective. You can order them in any RAL color, though: https://www.genelec.com/av-installation-speakers/ral-colours , if you can live with the more limited model selection.

How about KEF on/in-wall speakers? They can be mounted next to/underneath the screen.

Unclear where you plan on doing your setup. But if there's wall space, I would give serious consideration to an in-wall setup.

Agreed. Another use for hard-earned money. Amir found the (currently $3K each) KEF 'ci250RRM-THX' measured well - IF you have to use a ceiling location.

I think white Genelecs would look good in this place. If you buy the fitting floor stand which is also available in white, you can hide all the cables inside the stand:

If you clap in your hands you know enough from a acoustics point of view what to do. What i see guess probably a reverd time >1 second atleast.

Did you consider DSP an or room treatment if WAF is not a issue if needed. ?
