Does your computer have a Toslink optical out?
If so try using a optical connection from it to your DAC.
That will break the common ground and might even help with a hiss also.
I run mine like that and can get up to 192k over it with no issue.

Also inexpensive USB to Toslink converters can be easily found.

If so! Get a DAC-30, 40 or 50 on second hand market and you good to go! Used to have the DAC-60, but I updated it for a Holo Spring. Nevertheless the DAC-60 was fantastic as well.
