Hello everyone,
I've been looking for an amplifier for some time now, but I want one with good sound quality. I've been reading this forum for several hours now and somehow haven't really found the answer to my problem.
I am looking for an amplifier that has at least inputs for record players and at least two additional audio inputs (cinch), Bluetooth would be nice but not a must. It would also be important to me that it is built to the highest possible quality and can be repaired if necessary. Especially with older devices, this may be easier if circuit diagrams and instructions are still available. Of course, the device does not have to be new. I have no problem buying an amplifier that is 20-30 years old if it is in good condition.

I have now found three products from Yamaha:
Yamaha R-N 803D -> I think I'd be absolutely happy with this, but it's a bit expensive and I don't want an IOT device that shouldn't be allowed on the internet after five years. But I can't really judge whether that could be a problem here.

YAMAHA A-S701 -> I've read several times in this forum that the external finish is supposed to be really poor. Not the best, especially in terms of longevity.

Yamaha RX-V 596 RDS -> Looks great, even if the audio quality is marginally worse than the other devices, but the motorised input selector worries me, I can of course clean it, but I don't know whether I shouldn't have someone do it professionally.

I'm ofc also open to other models.

I hope you can help me a little.
So pls. forgive me if this is posted in the wrong category or so, I'm just a newbe.

I had a similar question. Was originally thinking about a fosi stack (amp, pre-amp, phono amp). Folks also pointed out the NAD devices.

Hi,
Some additional info would help: what sources do you want to connect (TT plus 2) and do you already have a phono amp? What speakers are you driving and how loud do you like to listen, in what size of room and how far from the speakers do you normally sit.
Sounds like you are looking for an integrated amp?

All of these Yamaha integrated amplifiers are solid options, and they will also sound the same.
I'm not sure where you've heard about longevity issues, but that's simply not true. The A-S701 is a well-built, reliable integrated amplifier.
All three of these models offer ample power and can easily handle low-impedance speakers.
