Hi guys,

I am recently enjoying my 8030C with using the Auralic Taurus Mk II headphone amp's preamp output as my volume control, but then the problem arose when the amp have no gain setting available and with 20dB+ of gain, which makes I only have one click of the DACT attenuator range even at -6dB sensitivity setting. As space is limited and I actually love how the Auralic Taurus performs when I need to use headphone, I am not keen to buy another not too budget preamp for the use of speakers (My wife will kill me for that;)) I am thinking about passive attenuators available, anyone have suggestions that technically won't affect the sound except attenuating the volume?

JDS Labs OL Switcher.
but that is RCA to RCA and a potentiometer inside which kind of inducing tracking problem when used in very low volume? I kind of need a XLR in and out pre or some resistor based fixed volume reducer which reduce the gain a lot and I can have the DACT in my preamp really usable

Nobsound NS-05P ... about $60 on Amazon. Got RCA and XLR inputs/outputs
