Budget 2.1 setup (Noob)

Just a blanket thank you to all that have made suggestions and given advice.

This noob truly appreciates it :)

Daaaaamn, this looks way above my pay grade ... hahahaa
Yes that particular gear is, but the logic behind it not necessarily. It shows that even if the Jamo sub will not add much if used on its own, it will be useful once you add another and more powerful sub. Such bigger subs do not necessarily cost an arm and a leg either. For now, you already have decent enough electronics (in fact, you even have two amplifiers), so you should spend your entire budget on the best available speakers within your budget.
And since you mention a tiled floor, think about some carpet if you want to avoid the swimming pool sound.

I really appreciate the patience in answering questions and giving advice, thank you for that.

I am in the process of getting some bass traps for the corners and have some furniture in there for guests, etc, so luckily not super hollow sounding.

Will look into a carpet for the front section. (full carpet not a possibility sadly)

Another random question.

Use whatever OFC cables I have ?, does it really matter for audio of this level ? (no sarcasm, really curios cause I know cables are a huge debate in this industry from what I googled)

Don't wast your money on fancy audio cables. Inexpensive interconnects are just fine. For speaker cables, the longer they are, the thicker they should be, but you don't need to go nuts. :)

You're welcome.

I generally buy my cables from pro audio places, rather than Hi-Fi dealers. This is a UK based seller, but I'm sure you'll have similar places in SA: https://www.studiospares.com/cables-leads.htm

I currently have active monitors, but for my last set of speaker cables I used Van Damme, it's not expensive and you may find ready made cables using it on places like Ebay or Amazon: https://www.van-damme.com/vandamme_product/van-damme-blue-series-studio-grade-speaker-cable/
