Fantastic. Buy a pair and never worry about amp performance.

One of the rare cases where everything lines up: power, quality and a reputable seller.

Not expensive at all for ticking all boxes - especially when you remember what amplifiers used to cost.
Now if the encasing looked better, I would be all over it

IIRC, Dylan mentioned that a very small percentage of his customers opted for a color other than Black and that surprised me.

I regard the surcharge and wait time as reasonable and thank Buckeye Amps (and KEF) for bringing more color to high fidelity.

Sadly, the option of an anodized aluminum finish is no longer available.
Oh that’s unfortunate the anodized aluminum looks better!

From where I sit, in Australia... shipping from US or shipping from EU is much of a muchness.... However, support/warranty gets complicated when you are 15,000km away from your supplier!

....even more of a problem is they have suspended shipping to the US
Not assuming you are, but let's not blame any European company for that.

Sadly for us hifi enthusiasts and many others, the global availability and shipping situation has worsened a lot lately. Reasons are obvious and need not be mentioned in detail; let's collectively hope for a silver lining at the horizon. It'd be a shame in this world if the situation got any worse. Personally as an EU citizen I'm a big fan of free trade, as it benefits everyone in the long run. Let's hope some time in the future it'll become a global thing!

I thought I offered a solution previously to people who want more flash and big spender cachet to Buckeye amps. Just put the Buckeye inside one of these. Problem solved!

The problem is, this isn't small likeable business Buckeye or similar which I'd certainly like to see competing over here, but fat old corporate instead. I'd like to keep this rather unpolitical, but can't help but say screw them; I'd rather give my money to a small but enthusiastic company like them, instead of silly notoriously overpriced Macces. As it so happens, Buckeye is no option as an EU customer. I bought from France/Audiophonics last year, still would've been nice to have had some US competition for good measure. But circumstances said no, and likely will keep doing so for the time being. :(

Be assured brothers and sisters, if Rope-Doge yours truly was emperor of the world, none of these trade problems would exist. My first measure and decree would be global free trade and unified conditions!

Vote Doge for Terran President lol

That was a painful read, that's enough for today...

"Probably"? There's a "lab report" page:

I chuckled at 855w idle consumption. Apparently when you can spend 50k GBP for an amp, leaving it on 24/7 is not a economic concern (environmental yes but who cares)

My concern was the rationale behind offering a bypass option with these high-performance amps, knowing they'd require higher voltage output sources (which are very few) to drive them to full power.
There is no requirement that the top of the volume dial be able to deliver max power. In fact, often that is not desirable.
