Buckeye Amps vs Apollon vs VTV for Multichannel – Which One for My 7.2.4 KEF Setup?

No that was meant for chezterarm as he looked sold on trying to get a "tube" sound out of a very clean Class D amp.
As to the AC in and out it looks a bit weird, my guess they are signal out and in connections. AC coupled means that any DC inputs or outputs is blocked.
bit weird, my bet is those are signal in and signal out connections. AC coupled means that any DC on the inputs or outputs is blocked.
Usually, signal inputs and/or outputs are assumed to be AC coupled. Sometimes they are labeled DC coupled which means the DC is not blocked.
I for one would believe a question to the manufacturer would be the way to solve this.

Your choice of the three is easy. Choose Buckeye, If someone is trying to upsell you to a different opamp for warmth they are doing it strictly for their profit with no audible improvement for you.
I have an apollon. It was an exhaustively slow frustrating experience.

I just recalled the Oppo BDP-95’s outputs were DC-coupled and for the BDP-105, the circuit design was switched to them being AC-coupled. My understand is that blocking DC might result in better noise and distortion performance but would degrade frequency response. Trying to understand why one would be picked over the other. Thanks!

...I would (did) ad "warmth" in the frontend with a colored dac or preamp...

...easy to change if you get tired of the warmth...

How would you define "warmth" in scientific or measurement terms?

Different people like different profiles of distortion harmonics.

Maybe in a few decades, people here would begin to understand and accept that. Or, is a few decades too soon?

...I should have said harmonic distortion...LoL...

...I ditched a Topping DX 5II and kept an Aune N7D...I don't use the onboard DAC(s)...that would be a little too much "warmth" (distortion) for me...

...I was using SMSL SU-1 but now I am listening to Motus 2...has a Hydrasynth Explorer and a mic hooked up to it...I don't miss using the sonically superior SMSL SU-1...

...the Aune N7 has been described as a hollow sounding POS...

...it sounds really well to me especially streaming things like Butthole Surfers Bong Song or Mozart - Piano Concerto No. 21, K476 / Yeol Eum Son...

...I have fragile, damaged hearing that is extremely prone to fatigue but still require some SPL and good detail retrieval to enjoy music...I want to listen all day...

...FWIW it is unlikely that the Aune N7D will be the last or only preamp I will ever buy but I didn't send it back...

...I may send it to Amir at some point...

Whichever is the cheaper device. Although I must ask you if you are absolutely certain, that you truly need that much power to begin with. Why not try out cheaper and robust devices that cost a fraction? Dont throw away your hard earned money that easily.

...I don't know what pink noise is and didn't measure anything...I have a small collection of preamp type devices and tried a few more that I didn't keep...I like the way the N7 sounds but would not necessarily recommend it to anyone who was looking for the purest signal...

...I might suggest it to "chezterarm as he looked sold on trying to get a "tube" sound out of a very clean Class D amp"...

...there are a number of colored DACs available too, but I don't have much interest in those...

...I have a very basic system in an untreated room...

Oh now I understand!

Are those cables wrapped around the limbs to get more sound in to the body?

...bio resistors to add depth, body, and air...you can't measure it, but you can hear it if you are good enough...(grin)

What makes you think that people here don't understand this concept? I think it's clear that some people like to add harmonic distortion to their systems. But it's also clear that some people value systems that produce the lowest or most accurate music possible.
