I’m down I got some jbls rated at 1500 watts and right now I’m running the gan1 which sounds pretty amazing already. But I might want to bump up the powah!

Is there an option to leave the amps idle-ing in a warm state? What does the auto on/off do?

Evan you remind us of the configurable gain options?

Auto On/Off turns the amp on automatically when a signal is detected over the Ch1 input and turns off when the signal level drops below a threshold for more than ten minutes.
It is user selectable.

Otherwise the amp can be left on indefinitely or a 12v trigger cable can also be used

Will there also be a bi-wiring version (see also datasheet para. 2.3.2)?
Is the modification (blue wire) also available in the series?
The blue wire is there as this is one of our prototype boards.

Can also probably add bi wiring ability though not really necessary

Some good news:

Since we decided to make the input board for the Purifi 9040BA a standalone board (and not make it an all purpose board that supports all other mono builds we offer) we have switched the OP amp to the TI OPA1656.

What features and benefits does this OP amp provide?

When compared to the OPA1612, nothing audible. It is mainly a switch to be more in line with what Bruno recommends and what the community expects.

If measuring, one advantage of the 1656 over the 1612 is higher impedance.

Another feature is the OPA1656 is less than half the cost of the 1612.
