Buckeye Amps 2ch Integrated Amplifier

I’m also in the camp of waiting. I’ve been the victim of buying products not ready for prime time that keep saying just wait for the next firmware update. It’s not a great user experience. If you can’t wait there really are a number of nice integrated amps out there now.

Query: does the NAD M10 have Dirac Live Bass Control, as promised at launch, available yet?

NAD can get away with that. A small company entering a new market niche could not.

Here’s the reference in case anyone wants it.

Unless he took deposits or contractually obligated to deliver by a certain date everybody needs to chill their overthrust evaporators.

These small shops deliver what they can. Yes it's frustrating to wait, but business is not entirely predictable.

In other news, Topping probably delivered 4 new products while i typed this post, so maybe they have what you want, and you will return for design failure.
I have a Topping EX5 that has performed without fail for over three years to it's expected specifications. All I've asked is when will the product be delivered that was promised to us over a year ago? Why is it wrong to ask these questions of suppliers? I love Dylan's products. The guy has pulled off an absolute miracle in the audio world. I've put my money where my mouth is already and purchased his stellar products; but, painful lessons must sometimes be learned in this brutal world of ours. Either you can deliver or you can't, and it's by no means unprecendented to simply as to when that we, the consumer, can expect to have a product delivered to us. I've worked as a product manager for one of the largest PC manufactuers on planet for many years so I know exactly what is expected of the consumer. You either deliver a product of a certain specification in a certain timeline or you can't. That's it. It's quite cut and dry. Patience, like all of our resources, is limited.

This is why companies announce so little by roadmap. Entitlement among customers is real.
When we're told to expect a product in a certain timeframe by a supplier and then that doesn't happen......for a year.....we're called entitled? Who set the timeline in the first place? It certainly wasn't me.

It really isn't cut and dry, though. I made a mistake on the initial timeline and have said as much. Not really sure what more there is to discuss about something that can't be changed. It'll be ready when it is ready. That is the revised timeline.

I could understand if it's a new medication or essential service that was promised, but we're talking about an integrated amplifier.
You seem entitled to an accurate time frame on a non essential product, when zero monies have been exchanged, and no one has been harmed. If this is causing distress, I have bad news for you about the rest of life.

Gosh, when I asked above I didn't intend for another pile-on session to begin. Sorry Dylan: just some renewed and earnest interest on my part made me chime in. *blushes

No worries at all! It doesn't bother me the least bit

Super, you run in good company. ;)

"While no specific, documented instance exists where a pope "told" Leonardo da Vinci something profound, there are instances where Pope Leo X interacted with Leonardo and offered critiques. One anecdote describes Pope Leo X commissioning a painting from Leonardo, only to be met with Leonardo's procrastination and his explanation that he was working on a new varnish. The Pope, frustrated, famously declared Leonardo would "never come to anything" because he focused on the end before the beginning, according to a blog post from Fineline Print & Web."

It'll be ready when it is ready.

Exactly. LOL

Stuff happens, timelines change. It’s good that you’re working towards a product that won’t need a bunch of updates after people have purchased it.

I might be wrong here, but I’m guessing that most people haven’t worked on new product design transfers from engineering into manufacturing so it’s hard to understand. I have for a good amount of years doing this.

Also in addition to product development and manufacturing there is a whole segment of customer service, supply chain, and website maintenance that takes a long time.

what ever happened with the integrated amp? Is the idea shelved for the time being?

Dylan posted the “real” case earlier in the thread.
I'll get some more pictures and the dimensions just to refresh everything.

The firmware is finally done and now doing our own internal testing with each variation.

Alright, I have a new space in need of a new setup, no rush. When this becomes available, I'll expand. If the preamp measures half as well as the amps it's the easiest choice in the world and can save a box of space.

and?

(To everyone who’s about to start complaining about not rushing the manufacturer - hold your horses. I’m interested in seeing it sooner rather than later, to be sure what it looks like and what its exact dimensions are)

Thank you for the reminder
