Buckeye Amps 2ch Integrated Amplifier

No one is obligated to wait. I jumped the gun on my ETA and instead of rushing to make up for it, am just taking my time to get it buttoned up.
No problem Dylan,
I still have plenty of time (I hope) to wait for your high res 15 channel Pre/Pro or AVR for my multich system. :D

i wish he didn't go into this integrated bs

takes away from the purity of single responsibility

this may be a costly mistake

A marketing type thinking that doesn't really have strength in the objective community.

Hi Dylan. It's been a year since you initially told us you'd have this product ready. A full year. I know we all know you're a small shop and you've had your fair share of very reasonable setbacks and delays. We all understand, we do.....but you know what's coming next. How long are we supposed to wait? Personally, I've already gone ahead an purchased a Wiim device because of the delays. I simply wasn't going to wait any longer. I truly love your NCx500 amps. I bought two of the mono blocks. Absolutely fantastic and I'm in the market in the near future to buy an 8ch NC252MP. I'm sure it'll be just as great. But for this new device, have you considered bringing on help or outsourcing? We all want to see you succede and I'm fully behind you.....but nobody will wait forever. A product must be delivered at some point. When will that be? Please choose a date and hold yourself responsible for hitting that date without fail. We all greatly look forward to your new product.

This is why companies announce so little by roadmap. Entitlement among customers is real.

I think people have been more than patient. It's been a full two years since he announced the release of this integrated and still doesn't have a final product close to finalized. People anticipated this for their next purchase and have been waiting a long time. He's stated several times that he's only a month away from delivering the product but yet we are still without end in sight of the product. Yes he is a small business and he can do what he wants, but he has also stated several times now for the last 2 years he is close to releasing it and we still have nothing. You can't help people having a bad taste in their mouth with buckeye with this lack of development. And yes I have bought a 2 channel amp from buckeye and love it so I'm fully supportive of his business and want to see it continue to succeed

So you love Buckeye so much that you're mad they don't have all the products you want?

With friends like you who needs enemies?

That will be about enough stone throwing at Dylan.

Just to be clear, being fully supportive would be encouraging the roll out... not posting a little passive/aggressive hissy fit that ends with a disclaimer.
 (... though understandable if you have to endure Syracuse on a daily basis)

If you give Buckeye the same latitude you would a hobbyist then you understand not all dreams become a reality.

This company is just a guy in his backyard with a barnful of parts and he only got into this endeavor as people were begging someone to build an amp for them. You got that. Be satisfied. He may go on vacation for a year now that's he's rich. That's OK too. :D

Definitely more than just a "guy in his backyard" but sure. Though I guess that is a step up from the first few years when some people would refer to me as just a "guy in a garage".

If you can afford a barn from selling stuff to people on the internet you've made it. :D
The new economy.

The "barn" has been on this property for over 30yrs.

Buckeye has become an extremely successful business thanks to the incredible AV community and customers, but I would not classify myself as rich, and definitely not rich enough to take a year vacation. Maybe if I increased my margins to match what a lot of other companies charge, sure. But that's not my goal.

Every company should hear honest feedback. He promoted the integrated 2 years ago, and then finally stated he’d have it ready a year ago, and still there is no product in sight. My issue is not that he hasn’t came out with an integrated, he can do whatever he wants with his company. My issue is that he SAID he would have an integrated ready to sell. I held off on other purchases to buy one, as I’m sure others have too. I’m entitled to my opinion and if he doesn’t care about the feedback then so be it. But constantly stating that he has it about ready and then radio silence month after month is disrespectful to customers and the people that support him on here. Again, he can do whatever he wants. If he has other priorities than great. But that is my experience and opinion over the last two years. He’s already successful with his business and I know he will continue to be.

I've already said I made a mistake with my initial announcement timing. Can't take it back. All I can say now is it will be ready when it is ready.

Seems like some folks here do not have enough to worry about. Post 353, 351, 349, 345, 342, 339, and 335 are prime examples of folks that really don’t get it. What good does any of what you post do? Really think you’re going to guilt trip a product faster? Chill the f out.

mistakes happen. at any level. (e.g. Musk has a habit of announcing vapourware).

people gotta chill

People probably don't realize that an integrated means Volume Control amongst its other features.
And this must be tested at any condition and combination over some time.

I would be more than ok to wait as much as it needs so to get a rock solid device about it if I was you.

It takes time to develop quality products. Life gets in the way. Setbacks happen. Delays occur. Ya'll complaining need to touch grass.
