Sorry if my conclusion hurting anyone. I only want to be honest and I don’t listen to the person on the video such as: “icepower is more harsh… bla.. bla..bla…”
No, I can’t be fooled by that.
It’s not hurting anyone. It’s more so we would hate to see you draw your conclusion on how an amplifier supposedly sounds from a YouTube clip…

Yes, this is only from I heard the 1st song for every amp. It’s not their performance.
I heard the Hypex amp wants to pick up the lower low freq. And the Purifi amp focus on the mid (vocal), doesn’t want to go anywhere. But the IcePower amp best on all range.
I understand your impressions from that clip. But what many will try to reaffirm is that drawing conclusions from a YouTube clip even with your own ears is not accurate.

My rank is for music only. If Buckeye choose Purifi 3 channels for HomeTheatre Left, Center, and Right, it’s very good. Because it need to be focussed on mid (vocal). So, the best for TV/HomeTheatre is Purifi.

They are very very big difference between Purifi, Hypex, and IcePower. Not small, but very big. I can hear the difference. It’s like between Cat, Dog, and Rat.

Others may choose to jump in but all I will say this one last time so it is on record for those who may read these threads and not know any better:
You cannot compare amps (or speakers, DACS, etc. for that matter) using YouTube. It is not accurate. At all. Period.

According to this video for that particular loudspeakers and 1st song only, my ears tell my brain to put this rank:
1. IcePower (best)
2. Hypex (lower low)
3. Purifi (mid)
You are not alone. Huge numbers of audio enthusiasts find it meaningful to review audio gear based on YouTube posts. I can't wrap my head around the logic. The number of uncontrolled variables is astronomic.

Step back and think about it.

A comparison between new class D amps, including purifi, Nilai, eigentakt, icepower and Passlabs. Made by the youtube channel theaudioalpha. https://www.youtube.com/live/NdZFAWe1Nxo?feature=share
Interesting, but it would have been so much more meaningful and probably with a less interesting outcome had they done their comparisons in a blind fashion. Actually, it would be really interesting to assemble the same system and three listeners in a fully double blind comparison and then play the results back to back.

@Buckeye Amps is this version with your custom input buffer? Nice to see you improved your product, congratulations! Really nice to see such a great value amp, ignore the comments about the case :)

All Purifi amps of ours come with the custom input buffer board

@amirm ... Would it be possible to do the multi-tone in the two reactive loads as well. I promise too shut-up now ;-D

@TNT Linear reactive load is not much interesting re distortion. Usually easier than low resistance. The key is it stresses SOA.

(i.e. with evidence).
With evidence equals measured. Some of us experienced and measured this issue with steel pads years, in fact decades ago before it was measured here.

Nice review and a great company, it seems,( hard to come across, these days)
Inside pics possibly?
Thanks for the review Amirm
I have some pics of the inside of mine somewhere. I'll see if I can find them tonight.
