Bricks List: 36V & 48V Power Supplies (for Fosi, Aiyima etc.)

EJ3 - here's sending you healing energy. I had my brush with it 9 years ago. Caught it early, did cryotherapy... nothing since, and yet nothing is permanent in life. My fam has a terrible history in that respect though...

My BT20A power supply makes a lot of high pitch squealing sounds when you put your ear to the actual unit. What's a good replacement?

I hope you get a response from someone better informed and qualified than me, but depending how loud these sounds are, maybe it's fine and you can not worry about it? Eg i have an LED torch that makes a high pitch sound when it's on - I am unconcerned about it.

Looks like 12-24V is the range for the Fosi BT20A.

This might not be suitable, but perhaps a good quality unit - just gotta hook up the cables (could cut and use the existing cable+barrel jack from your current power supply)
I got 2 of these in 48V versions for Fosi V3 Mono. i expect they are good, and they are certainly doing the job, and I like that i have a range that i can adjust and set the voltage. the "N2" versions of these LRS mean well power supplies can do 200% current/power for "short periods". (which are probably actually very long periods in audio application). Seemed really well priced to me.

Alternatively, you might find some existing laptop power bricks might be suitable for that voltage range. I think my defunct laptops had 19V from memory, with decent power/current that would probably be suitable unless you're pushing to get max volume from the amp. You could do that for a bargain, re-purposing method.

My uninformed 2 cents...

I had the hide the PSU behind my monitor stand where all my power strips are, because I could hear it when it was closer to me. I'm not worried about it now.
