About excellent channel separation :
- This parameter can be clearly heard, even with ageing ears, at the difference of some other measurements.
- It was the very first thing I noticed while installing my Arthur 4215 (and then listening to the FM !)
- Is there a mean or database to easily compare channel separation ?
- The importance of this parameter is too often underlooked.

Purifi based amps seem to be the greatest gift of all for price, power, performance and reliability. My Audiophonics S400 ET even after years of regular abuse, is completely reliable.
Topping completely own the SINAD space if you have the ears, room and system.

I use my Topping D70pro Sabre as a preamp (famous last words in some places of this forum:) into my Audiophonics S400 ET, going to my Lintons. I've pretty much settled on this setup for years now. Speakers may vary over the years, but why should anyone who wants to listen (to digital stereo sources) in a living room need more/need pay more for SQ? Looks, but otherwise? I'm curious, so let me know what you think.

Thanks amirm for the great review,as usual both Purifi Audio n boXem Audio maintain their high standards when releases new product.
Hopefully one day can see amplifier with Purifi 1ET9040BA module get review here.

those internals dont match Amir's pictures, do they?
Wirh respect of the cooling concept of the amp the chassis is on the top.

I like this Brand very much. Maybe i will add a this power amp later to my NAD. :)

I live in belgium which is close to Luxembourg.

I live also close to Luxemburg and picked up my amp personaly by Fred.

I cannot afford decent passive speakers, unfortunately.

What a great amp this is.

(Wonder why there is no power switch, though)

Interesting statement, why the preference for Boxem?

I prefer Boxem as:
1. It offers SpeakOn connectors. This one option can offer measurable performance improvement.
2. The case is a significant improvement visually.
3. The internal wiring quality and attention to detail is noticeable.
4. The Purifi design runs significantly cooler than NCx500.
5. The Purifi design requires about 35% less power at idle and normal listening levels than NCx500.
6. In my experience, Boxem tends to offer a higher level of product design and testing than what I see from most third party Hypex/Purifi assemblers.

We appear to have the same mindset. I'm slightly lower down the ranking charts, but happy, using the original Topping E50 DAC as preamp with S400 ET. To my mind, no advantage to change either. If funds (and my better half) permit, I could be looking at one or more of 'better' speakers, room treatment and measurement based DSP.

Fabulous product and great testing. A question for @amirm, I realized this is displayed in the overall Best Amplifiers @ 5 Watt/4 Ohm load as 112 dB, with measured SINAD performance for the channels 1 and 2 being 111.235 dB and 111.362 dB respectively, while the Apollon NCxST500 is shown as 111 dB, with a measured SINAD of 111.305 and 111.205. Howcome they are not both shown as 112dB?
