Boxem are best.

What has an appeal to you is overloaded to me. Tastes are different, luckily for us ;)
Correct, reason why i went for competition that offered , for same integrated module, a nice looking case ... To my eyes

Define better. Objectively.

He's probably not going to be able to define methodically how they are better when he can't even correctly spell the amp manufacturer name? Trolling is easy. Proof is hard.

Boxem amps are at an entirely different level. Most 3rd party Hypex/Purifi builders don't thoroughly test their designs until a problem is discovered by a reviewer months later, after they have been selling them to customers. That doesn't happen with Boxem because quality and testing is job #1.

Hummm ... Again that's your own thinking

Appollon audio offers MUCH better amps and choices at similar price tag
For those of us who like bigger stuff at the "traditional" full size and with full cooling abilities?
The truth?

No, Appolo don't make better amps, they make bigger amps for their premium line that LOOK nice, that LOOK close to what one pays for similar traditional stuff, material is the correct, BUT...
Painted???
The golden traditional rule for hi-end entry prices (from 5k euro and up for amps) is anodized, brushed alu. Period.
And not only that, but anodising had to keep a consistent shade of the color (we're talking nightmares if you see the process) .
Nothing can beat its premium feeling.

Of course no differentiator whatsoever for the purifi stuff soundwise, other than power vs time cause of the cooling real estate, heatshinks, etc.

Easy
As a consumer i would look for exemple at Arthur 4216/e2 @ 1860 euro stereo with 2 Purifi 1ET6525SA Eigentakt and one hypex smps 1200 as a single power supply / all fit in a little aluminium box and a front panel in color .. measurement and power wise, its perfect... But its not ''sexy'' enough for the price ..it looks basic ..form factor small box

Still as a consumer i keep looking on net and fall on other offerings ..other brands that implement the pufiri module 1ET6525SA..
Example the appollon audio double mono that uses the same modules at exactly 1890 euro too and offer additionals options if needed, worth to mention there's double power supply..

Performance wise ..these two amps play the same game

Case :
appolon brings nicer looks with a more elegant aluminium case and form factor ..12kg ..there must be some space inside that box , air would circulate i guess.
Amp with not move with heavy câbles attache to it

Boxem Arthur : 4.6 kg ... Form factor compact inside , getting warm?

I'll list one objective advantage for appollon:
4 gain settings and 2 power supply Versus 3 gain settings and one power supply for stereo for the boxem

So if right now i have to purchase a purifi and throw 2ke in an amp , appollon attracts .. boxem looks expensive in comparaison

Performances are similar, outside hearings capacity ... They will deliver the power to move speakers

I don't thank you for being rude and insulting

I write with a small phone, its complicated to see errors ...

I guess you're a short thinker

I see they have '' regular '' line and luxury crazy expensive

But their regular line of amps seems to be competitive , as i described a few arguments minutes ago

Let’s focus on product attributes and be respectful of each other please! :)

When you study the measurements of various Purifi 1ET6525SA offerings from different third party builders you find:
1. Dual power supplies make little to no difference in sound quality while significantly increasing energy use and heat.
I would never buy a dual PS 1ET6525SA amp. It's never worth the extra cost.

2. You don't need 4 gain settings. Typically, you use the high gain setting when used with an AVR. In addition, after trying low gain I discovered high gain was usually more engaging dynamically in my system. Having more gain settings offers another point where hardware can fail and is a waste of parts in my view.

3. The Boxem Purifi never gets warm. It also offers plenty of weight to hold cables in place. Suggesting otherwise indicates you likely have never used the Boxem?

4. In most cases, less is more. The amp lasts longer when only a single PS is used and the quality of the gain stage has nothing to do with the number of settings and everything to do with the design and testing that went into it's creation. Boxem's Purifi gain stage is the best in the business.

5. At some point, if you're looking for amp quality; measurements matter more than any specific look of the case.

5. At some point, if you're looking for amp quality; measurements matter more than any specific look of the case.

1. Single vs. Dual Power Supplies

I agree that one or two power supplies won't change the sound. However, regarding the cost: in the example I shared, the price is actually the same.
So why turn it down? For the exact same price, a full dual-mono layout gives you extra hardware value and complete channel separation on paper—even if it isn't audibly different. If it costs the same, you're simply getting more for your money.

2. Gain Settings

Having multiple gain settings isn't unnecessary; it's a huge advantage for flexibility, allowing you to fine-tune the amp to almost any preamp on the market.
A single setting is often too restrictive.
Two settings give you a basic choice.
Three or four settings let you dial in gain staging perfectly for your specific system.
Far from being a useless point of failure, it's a welcome feature that expands your setup options.

3. Weight and Heat (Boxem)

This doesn't really address the main point. Thermal management and chassis weight aren't the primary deciding factors here.but 12kg make purchaser ego happy

4. Design Philosophy ("Less is More")

"Less is more" is mostly audiophile marketing jargon. What truly dictates reliability and performance is proper engineering and component quality, not just keeping the spec sheet minimal
And in the example i share we have the same components but one is implemented in a nicer and bigger case

5. Aesthetics vs. Measurements (Boxem vs. Apollon / Luxman)

I think my original point got a bit lost in the discussion. I was initially reacting to photos of high-end Accuphase and Luxman amps, wishing we had more affordable options with that kind of premium design.
When the Boxem photo was brought up, my observation was purely aesthetic: visually, it lacks appeal. For the same price and the same Purifi tech, alternative builders like Apollon offer a much more refined look and better overall presentation for your money and it offers also a dual smps, gain settings, and other options you can select ... At the same price

My home is in what they call mid century modern style, and the furniture is similar with designs from e.g. Arne Jacobsen and Poul Kjaerholm. Why spoil that esthetic with retro designs like Accuphase or Luxman? Less is more.

‘Premium’ design? Personally not a fan of 70’s design and prefer the understated Boxem aesthetic but that is of course purely subjective.

Yeah, but non one cares about your home since it's not the subject

Talking about audio gear, it would be ridicoulous to compare a luxman or accuphase design VS a boxem Arthur ...

These are Hypex DIY parts: amp and pre-amp.

Wouldn't it be nice to put them in one box with a little more appeal and create an integrated.

To be honest, my ideal amplifier is completely invisible: a box out of sight, with a remote control/app and auto on/off. I have that for a small chip amplifier in pour bedroom, with a Chromecast Audio as a source.
