Bookshelf speaker considerations for small space (UK)

I'm currently in the market for a pair of speakers to go with a Yamaha A-S501 for my small (14'x11') living room where much of the space is taken up by my home office.
The speakers will be placed around 1' from the rear wall and 5' apart, I'll be sitting roughly 8' away.

Currently considering Wharfedale Diamond 12.1 as my best option. Is there anything I should consider with this choice or are there any recommended alternatives at a similar price point?

Those Wharfedales are a good option. Alternatives I might suggest are the KEF Q150 or the Polk ES20 (no idea what the availability is of Polk in the UK).

The ELAC Debut series also worth a look, or you might find some vintage KEFs that would be around for the same price point.
