Bobwire XLR switch or passive line selector for using two preamplifiers?

Hello, Everyone.

I would like to be able to switch between two preamplifiers in my two-channel system. I would not need automatic switching, and only one preamp would be turned on at any given time.

All my connections are balanced (no RCA): XLR out from preamp to XLR in on amps (two amps, each one operating in bridged mono). Amir reviewed a Bobwire XLR switch, which I have (review link below).

Since I don’t need automatic switching, my question is whether could use a passive line-level switch such as the Black Lion Audio LS-4 Line Selector (product link below) to switch between my stereo preamps. I have a Black Lion LS-4 switch, as well as a Coleman LS3 Line Level Selector. These passive switches work well with using two different audio interfaces to connect with a single pair of monitors.

I’m thinking that I could use a passive switch to connect my preamps to my amps. I have proper cables (XLR female to TRS, TRS to XLR male; Canare L-4E6S, Van Damme Starquad XKE).

Would I be correct in thinking I could use a passive switch for what I describe?

I didn't see that review, @NTK . Thanks for linking it. I can use cables with all XLR connectors instead of needing anyting with TRS connectors (same with the box Redacted mentioned above).

In fairness, the Little Bear is prettier! And I'm sure the knob just pulls off and can be aligned!
But you have loads of choices.
