Bluetooth headphones - looking for sound quality, comfort, durability

Firstly check sound drivers, whether they are updated or not.

I have the Sony XM4 and they are all about the ANC, and it really is the best noise cancellation out there in my opinion. I agree that it is very bass heavy, although that can be improved a little with the companion Sony app.

If you get on ok with the Bose ANC then I would say when I test drove the new Quietcomfort Ultra I thought they sounded really good (for a wireless with anc). I believe refurbished ultra can be bought direct from Bose for under 300, or you might get a deal on Amazon black Friday, where Bose tend to get big discounts.

Side note, I returned the lower Bose Quietcomfort SC model because I felt they sounded tinny / hollow and had average to poor ANC, so worst of both worlds
