Way more money than you need.So if I invest in a different brand of RCA cables anyone have suggestions?…1 set at 1 meter two sets at 1.5 meters…all in at 1500$..
For that $$ I’d suggest making your own. Or try (Worlds Best Cables) on Amazon. Both would be a lot less $$. (And just as good)So if I invest in a different brand of RCA cables anyone have suggestions?…1 set at 1 meter two sets at 1.5 meters…all in at 1500$..
You can post a short video or pictures at some of the free large file transfer sites. Like www.wetransfer.com or if you have a dropbox account you can post links that can be downloaded.I tried posting pics here didn’t work but actually sending one to Blue Jeans is a great idea..and will try harder for this post
"Investing" in cables is like "investing" in duct tape... just get the second or third cheapest ones in the length you prefer and don't worry about it.So if I invest in a different brand of RCA cables anyone have suggestions?…1 set at 1 meter two sets at 1.5 meters…all in at 1500$..
I put it back on sorta twisted it seems to be on ok…music is playing great..just have to keep a eye on it…no kids or pets to mess with stuff…I never have owned any other cable for years…I was having trouble a month ago with banana plugs going into my Pass Labs amp, the right channel would not play sometimes…checking all the interconnections seemed fine so thinking I wasn’t getting a good speaker connection I sent the Blue Jeans BAV speaker cables back for spades to be put on just for the amp…bananas for the speakers were fine…so moral of the story it was the right side interconnect sagging at times..so I have been fighting this for a while..and they are only a couple months old when I got a new ampAs for the sound quality of RCA cables, there are 2 key things that distinguish high quality cables:
Blue Jeans LC-1 is excellent in both categories, and not too expensive.
- Robust connectors & cables, with high build quality that lasts over the years.
- Low capacitance/reactance, so you don't get treble attenuation with long cable runs from devices having high output impedance.
Note: one more point that is often debated: cable shield connected to ground - on both ends, or on one end only? I wouldn't worry about that, but there's more on that topic here at ASR if you search. Also, Blue Jeans published their own opinions & testing on shielding: https://www.bluejeanscable.com/articles/humrejection.htm
Maybe they planned on the monster death grip connectorsMy Pass Labs amp and preamp should have good RCA connections and my two dacs the Denafrips Venus and New Ontech should be good too..damn
Definitely don’t want that lol…I remember many years ago 20 or more one of those Monster RCA pulled the connection out of a Yamaha amp lolMaybe they planned on the monster death grip connectorsToo bad there's not a true standard to adhere to

I did buy a monster cable back in the day (local, owned by a friend's cousin) and it indeed had the death grip and developed issues until I modified it somewhat. Most of my rcas fit just fine, tho....can't think of an issue in quite a while but no bluejeans stuff....is it particularly heavily jacketed or something where weight plays a role?Definitely don’t want that lol…I remember many years ago 20 or more one of those Monster RCA pulled the connection out of a Yamaha amp lol
Wish I could get a pic to work but not heavy,I did buy a monster cable back in the day (local, owned by a friend's cousin) and it indeed had the death grip and developed issues until I modified it somewhat. I'd be playing with the "ears" for better pressure on connection for the most part if BlueJeans doesn't have anything better to offer. I've never had with many many different rcas over the years migrate out of position, even ones that feel a bit vague on insertion.Wish I could get a pic to work but not heavy,
Not looking for cheap looking for something that does the job well, my system isn’t cheapScindex is even cheaper.
