Same here as well. I have multiple cables, all RCA, using their standard connectors. Most purchased in the last 18 months or so, a few much older. Best cables I've got. No problems at all.
Have any other brand to try?..I could buy one set to see..my next step tomorrow is to take my system apart to see how the RCA are seating…which is a real pain but has to be doneHaven't really had this problem crop up with RCAs... but realistically any half-decent RCA will be equally good absent major interference. If the BJCs don't work for you, just go for the next available and don't worry about it.
Honestly anything on Monoprice that doesn't look too crappy to you should work fine. For short runs, any copper cable usually does the job 100%, unless there is a mechanical issue.Have any other brand to try?..I could buy one set to see..
I have a box somewhere with old cables so will see how they seat …if I can find it..but there is a problem when even my dacs , different brands don’t seat well…Honestly anything on Monoprice that doesn't look too crappy to you should work fine. Outside of ASR there are a lot of folks who believe cable quality has a lot to do with sound quality. However, the numbers do not support this idea in any way. You need runs of close to 300 feet before you should really start worrying about cables at all.
If it’s an older cable it’s possible a crimp at the RCA or oxidation could be an issue. If it was me, I’d clean it up good and reseat the RCA connector on fresh wire. It’d take 10 minutes while guessing clues on Jeopardy. The old cables were from years past, after 50 years of buying stuff you have a box of old cables probably nothing wrong with them…but I to am worried about to tight of a connection…maybe I can put something under the connections to keep the RCA cable even with the rca connections of the components…so they don’t sag over time..first thing I need to take it apart and look with a magnifying glass and from someone previous post maybe the Blue Jean RCA is to fat and holding it back for going all the way in to seat
Agreed - I had a bad XLR cable from them and instead of fixing it myself, they just sent a new one. Good customer service in my experience.again - not sure which connectors you have, but BJ has RCA cables that are higher quality that you can tighten and untighten by rotating the tip of the connector. i have no idea if that's what you have, though. i know that's what i installed at my GF's place and they work flawlessly. i also think they are a great company that would exchange the cable if there's anything wrong with it.

Amazon Basics for me.Same here. The RCA's they use are some of the best I've ever seen.
