Better amp options for Elac dbr62 in tv/game den?

I currently have a set of Elac dbr62 speakers. For the small room they're in they mostly fill in the space nicely, but I have been using a Fosi Audio V3 to drive them and the lack of a remote control option to it from the fixed line out on my TV is annoying - if I had known the tv forces a fixed auto level I never would have bought the v3, but I didn't realize until I plugged it in and by then my return window closed for the v3.

I'd like to switch to something that has built in volume control with a remote because eARC is a hard "no" due to issues with the implementation on my specific TV (basically get audio video dropouts with it enabled). This basically leaves me with the TV's line out (which isn't the cleanest, I've found) or optical toslink out. Again, both output at a fixed volume from the tv.

Use is mostly for streaming video and gaming, with a little bit of music maybe but won't be my primary music setup (that's in another room). I originally bought the speakers because I wanted a better stereo soundstage than the built in speakers were giving me without really breaking the bank, and these dbr62's seemed like a good value and a nice fit for a small 10'x10' room.

I'd like to preserve the option to later add a sub to the setup for a 2.1 ch experience, but surround will never happen in this room so I don't need anything more than that.

Most importantly, the *size* of the amp/DAC needs to be as small as possible. The Fosi Audio V3 is actually the perfect size, fits the space with about 1-2 inches to spare on every side. There's no way I could ever fit a "traditional" amplifier in the space.

A few options I've been looking at include the Wiim Amp and Amp Pro. I actually have the Wiim Pro Plus in the other room connected to a pair of Neumann KH 120 II's that pull double duty as mixing monitors, and it sounds great with a little room correction for both streaming and my TT, but I really don't need the streaming capability in this room with my TV and game consoles because my apple tv box already takes care of that.

So I guess my ask here is, is there anything that I should be looking at in a similar footprint, that delivers simpler performance with a sub out and a remote for less money? I'm leaning towards the one of the Wiim amps but I am honestly overwhelmed by the amount of cheap class d amps out there and it's hard to kind of shop by size especially when searching the review database here. Want to make sure I'm not skipping an obvious pick otherwise.

The WiiM Amp/Amp Pro is a no-brainer honestly.

Even if you don't need streaming, nothing in, and especially below its price class matches the Amp's featureset WRT room correction and sub integration in such a small package.

Yes, there are other small Class D Amps with a remote and Sub out, but they either have no crossover controls or at most very limited controls, and for EQ at most basic tone controls and a few presets like Jazz, Rock, Pop etc.

Oh wow, ok. I didn't think I'd just randomly come up with the only option just like that

That certainly makes me feel better about buying it. It'll be a few days to a week before I pull the trigger on it, so in the meantime still open to hearing if anyone else has a suggestion.

Well after hearing rumors of several companies having stock issues and raising prices in response to recent tariffs, I decided to buy the amp pro today. Amazon came through with same day delivery which was nice.

I will say, if anyone has previously had the Wiim non-amp models, these are, uh, significantly larger. I probably should have checked the size before buying, I expected it to be bigger than the Wiim Pro Plus I had but I didn't realize it'd be almost 40% bigger! Still, I was able to rearrange some equipment to get it to barely fit.

I'm happy to report it does the job quite well for these speakers! They seem to have no trouble driving them at moderate to loud volumes, and with the built in room correction it is actually taming the admittedly poor room acoustics quite well, which is more than I could have reasonably asked for. Only minor annoyance is it didn't come with AAA batteries in the box for the remote. For nearly $400 I expected they would and had to scramble to the store late tonight to pick some up. But audio wise, for the money I'm quite happy with the result. I'll also say that, surprisingly, it seems to manage a better room correction with the speaker grilles on for the dbr-62s. I was not expecting that but indeed it did seem to help tighten up the 70-90hz range a bit. Probably would have taken me a long time to figure that out myself!
