So my immediate attempts in Multitone and possibly Deltaawave seem to be giving mixed results, but I'll admit there's a 100% chance of this being user error. I posted my first couple of attempts in here

A/B Testing two audio interfaces
I have two almost identical audio interfaces but one I've modified slightly. How would I go about A/B testing them to see if made a difference? Recording a square wave through both and comparing? Sine wave? Two WAV audio recordings? I'm new to this. Please be gentle lol.www.audiosciencereview.com
But I genuinely have no idea if I'm doing it properly, I'm still learning and almost certainly am using it wrong. I suspect people more experienced than me understand this right out of the box, but we all start somewhereand I'm keen to learn so I suspect I'll get there eventually
I would love to eventually post my results + some modifications for these interfaces as they're worth preventing from going to e-waste due to good driver support. I'm also thinking of socketing mine with an adapter so I can run multiple preamp chips and experiments, but its only really worth it, if I can fully understand the analysis
So for stuff like THD, am I simply looking for the lowest dB value?
SINAD, is that just SNR?
Noise, again just lowest DB?
Frequency response I'll have to learn.
For the comparison, I suggest you use a longer test file, 2-3 minutes. But even with a short one, you should get at least an idea of what's different. If you share the two recordings you already captured through two interfaces in that other thread, I can see what information I can get out of them.
