I love my little desktop system and i am using it every day but i want to try some headphones so i do not wake up my wife and kids with my late night sessions. :)
Should a buy a wireless bluetooth headphone or are there better ways to connect a wired headphone to my amplifier? (NAD M10 V3)

The M10 V3 has a Pre out on the rear, so you can do M10->RCA->Headphone Amp->Headphones
So i need to disconnect the speakers every day?
Or does it not use the pre out when the headphone amp is off so i can use my speakers also?

Probably. :( Or you could get a speaker switch. Usually they are for switching between a pair of speakers but if nothing is connected to "B" it will work as an on/off switch.

Or if you are always listening to the same source maybe you can tap-into whatever is connected to the amplifier input. If you are using a line-input, it's OK to use Y-splitters to send the signal both to your main amp and a headphone amp.

If you're listening to a Bluetooth stream, that's an option. Or a headphone amp with Bluetooth. But I don't know how convenient it is to switch Bluetooth devices.

The amp has Bluetooth aptX HD, so bluetooth supports audio up to 24-bit/48kHz but i am sure wired is better.

I think it is best to connect a headphone amplifier straight into my PC (USB) and use the PC as a streamer for convenience then.

Edit: the SMSL DL400 looks best for me if i read the reviews.

My NAD C399 lets me mute the speakers via its settings menue.
I use this option for headphone listening. I have a headphone amp connected to the C399s Pre-Out, just like staticV3 mentioned.
Your M10 V3 might offer the same option.
