After many, many years of wanting to do Linux (which I first heard of/experienced in Thailand in Jan of 2004), Microsoft has forced my hand & I will have learned & be using Linux before their change over. And non of my chips will have even the capability of their BS.
So, thank you very much.
Linux will change your whole computing experience.
I'm running a laptop that's over 10 years old as if I've just bought it brand new. Complete with built in optical drive off course

So far, best software, i found in windows for 10$ is "Duplicates Cleaner" for all kind of files.

cleanup, my audio files in ones night

i merge everything in a copy file, and then i run the program, clean 193G in a breeze!

now, i will merge back, all the files in iTunes, to see what happen, all backup done!

and will do a copy, for my old macmini server, if it work!

Well, bad new, was working with electric tool this morning.

my ear and brain, decide it's over for one of my ear after veneer felt and made a loud slackkkkkk!

so now, no need to invest time in that

Streaming will be fine, and will keep only, one HiFi set up and discard all the rest!

this is the end of my musical journey!

Very sorry to hear that!

I've always used abcde, which uses cdparanoia under the hood and can encode to basically anything under the sun.

Really good ripper for unix nerds.

Interesting. I' going to be switching from Windows 10, probably to Linux Mint, before the 10 quits getting updates.
This looks real good.
