Best Portable DACs with UAC 1.0 and 2.0 Support?

Hi ASR People,

Made an account specifically to ask the experienced members/experts here to inquire on what the best portable DACs are available right now with both UAC 1.0 and 2.0 support.

Want to use the DAC for my Android/IOS phones, Nintendo Switch Oled, and PS5; been looking for one with working PEQ at UAC 1.0 for my consoles.

My listening gear are HD6XX, a 7Hz Zero 2, and a DT 770 pro (250 ohm) that I connect to an RME Babyface Pro FS.

Hoping for some good recommendations.

Pretty much end game, really. Make sure to update to latest firmware, and all your specified requirements are met.

Possibly slightly weak amplifier for the most hard-to-drive headphones (edge cases), but the ones you've listed aren't those.

Not expensive either. Get one, or two.

Use SMSL PO100 Pro for the USB input, then you can use any device that accepts S/PDIF / TOSlink

@peh @john61ct Will give the suggestions a look. I was initially looking at a Fosi DS2, however I wasn't able to find anything conclusive with UAC 1.0 compatibility. Checked Fosi DS3 but apparently no PEQ for 1.0, which I wanted for my Nintendo Switch OLED use. Also looked at Crinear Protocol Max, and saw volume issues mentioned for consoles.

Basically need a sturdy dongle DAC/amp that's actually portable for when I'm moving location, or across the living room, since I already have my desk setup.

Something decent enough to drive my HD6xx while I'm out and about or when I'm playing on my consoles without crossing too far into diminishing returns territory.

Not so keen on designs like the Apple dongle or Fiio JA11/KA11 as I'm afraid I don't have the most delicate touch to keep these in one piece for my usual average years of use for stuff.
