Is there an optimum stage where to apply room correction in audio system chain?
- As early in the chain as possible like Camilla DSP on a streamer, or with Parks Puffin for vinyl etc...
- With a separate box having room correction/parametric EQ capability.
- Integrated in preamplifier like in Lyngdorf, DSPeaker Antimode X4 etc...
- Integrated in DSP-enabled active speakers like Genelec.

To complicate matters, many of us like to have parametric EQ for headphones, so we need two separate EQ-settings and maybe even two separate DSP-systems depending on where the room correction is done in the system chain...

I dont know about optimum, but i like roon dsp. Have multiple speaker, headphone configs throughout the house. Works in synergy with avr/ht systems as well
