Hello, I currently use Kali-LP6 V2 as my main monitors connected to a pioneer DJM900NXS Mixer. I have the option to output XLR, RCA, or Digital Coax and would like a DAC/DSP that can take XLR or digital input, apply PEQ, and output XLR to my main monitors.

It seems like TOPPING D90 III or RME ADI-2 would do what i want but both are about $1000 USD. I think at that price point 2x Adam A7V would be a better investment, but perhaps there is something cheaper?

The miniDSP might work for you. (I don't own one). But it's computer controlled/programed so if you have a portable setup and you want to change the settings at different venues, it may not be as convenient as turning knobs.

If you can use a graphic EQ they are usually a lot less expensive than parametric equalizers (as hardware). You can get a graphic equalizer for a couple hundred dollars or less. The Behringer DEQ2496 has something called "virtual parametric equalization"... whatever that is...

One of the miniDSP units should do what you need for far less than a grand.

edit: @DVDdoug beat me to an answer by seconds....
