Hi to all,
I have the iBasso DC Elite and I'm so happy about it. But when I play it with my Linsoul ZiiGaat Cincotres IEMs it seams that they made a distortion, I fear to damage them in high volume.

Could you please tell me what are the best Technical Specifications (like impedance, sensitivity ...) must have IEMs to be drive by DC Elite power and volume without distortion? (4.4mm balance jack)
I listen Heavy metal and i like also sub bass.

Thanks

Technical Details Linsoul ZiiGaat Cincotres

Drivers

2*10mm Dynamice Drivers + 2 Sonion +1 Knowles

Sensitivity

104dB @ 1kHz

Impedance

11 ohms @ 1kHz

are you sure it is not music distortion coming through clearly cos it is metal

:D:D:D Bro I know the different about overdrive distortion for guitar and the clip distortion from speaker :)

Perhaps I didn't explain myself well, sorry. The distortion is the kind you hear when a speaker is put under stress, it crackles, it's really annoying, and if you keep going, you break the speaker, in this case the headphones. What I wanted to know is whether it's better to get IEMs that have a higher impedance so you can turn up the volume without them distorting at certain frequencies.

DC ELITE SPEC
4.4mm Balanced Output

  • Output Voltage: 4.6Vrms
  • Output Power: 280mW@32Ω, 70mW@300Ω
  • THD+N: 0.00022% (300Ω load) 0.00031% (32Ω load)
  • Frequency Response: 10Hz-50kHz -0.5dB
  • S/N: 121dB
  • Dynamic Range: 118dB
  • Noise Floor: 3.5µVrms (Normal listening volume: 0.9µV)
  • Output Impedance: <0.4Ω

you're looking at a 260 dollar iem for a 500 dollar amp?
I have tested 2 other IEMs before them and for my hear and the music I like Cincotres sound amazing. But this is not the question I made :=)
