That's a long list of the "best" DACs.
Holy cow. Their "best" list has 18 DACs on it! I wonder what they left out if any.

Dacs must be like children. They love them all.....

Many many CD players are in there, all the ones I owned over the years.
A quick overall reference, but no video machines...Laser Disc, DVD, HD DVD, Blu-ray, 4K UHD players.

Instead of starting another thread I thought I just add it here as a bonus.
Your review of the Emotiva DAC, measurements, brought me to the search of this master reference list of DACs. Sometimes I forgot the DACs used in certain players, even my own. This link is useful.

I didn't verify if the latest are included, I've only checked briefly a dozen or so and I was amazed that all the CD players I looked @, were there.
That's also when I discovered that video machines weren't included, because them too spin music discs.

From Emotiva's entry only one is present:
EMOTIVA XDA-1
AD1955
D/A converter

The list is incomplete, no updating.
All the world's DACs from all the planet's CD players aren't all there; it would take the energy of one billion Tesla batteries. ;-)

I don't own any DACs on that list. My audio setup is a complete joke. I am completely devastated :p

It's ok, you don't need any DAC with a turntable or a cassette tape player.

Do you have a TV, you can watch movies, neither any DAC needed.
Here's a clip of one I recommend; it reminds me of a digital world, without zippers, without frontiers, just a power grid with teletransportation requiring no chips, no DSP, no DACs...the future...of surviving in a new more advanced digital world. You don't even need to strap your seatbelt, it's a seatbelt-free world too. No gas, no electricity, no nuclear power, the grid is self-contained, strictly alimented by human DNA.

Click bait list.

There are no Russians, as far as I know, behind that list.
It is safe, I verified it before posting it; no malware, no virus, no epidemic flu, no tainted food with salmonella, no trumpetist.

Proceed with total expansion of the brain, it is hack-free.

Dat is totally awesome, now you're talkin', dac I like.

She saw the end result and was totally ready; she quietly slips away at the end of the movie [I am sure in real life that character would have a very significant cash stash]. That is how my ancient brain remembers it.
