Yeah, especially when something goes wrong, as Topping's "products" often like to do.
You always come up with the same slogan, but please also provide statistics or numbers.
Cheap products can't have the same quality as expensive ones, but some of these products also cost less, as is the case everywhere in this world and in all areas, not just audio.
Not everyone has the money, or wants to spend the money, on an RME or Violectric/Lake People, just to name a few examples.
Yes, Topping had a problem with the first L30, which was replaced after the problem was completely resolved.
The devices in which Topping used the encapsulated modules (5 devices) were also a complete failure, but Topping replaced these devices under warranty.
I find it extremely unprofessional and customer-unfriendly that these devices aren't replaced even outside of the warranty, but unfortunately, this is also the case with many European companies.
Such failures have not been observed for some time now, and Topping seems to have distanced itself from encapsulating modules altogether.
Otherwise, I have eight topping machines that are running smoothly, and among my friends and acquaintances, there are certainly over 70 topping machines that have been working well for 1.5 to 5 years. In addition, there are over 10 failed PA5s that have been running perfectly again since the sealing compound was removed.
