Best DAC for less than $100?

USB input, single ended output.
Perhaps I need to explain: this is a DAC to be used between PC and external amplifier. So I do not want headphone amplifier outputs, as many of the smallers are.
Having RCA outputs, without cable adapters, would be preferable.

you can easily get one cable with a headphone plug in one end and rca in the other end

Did you buy something ?

possibly one of the stupidest questions ever given its so open ended

its like asking 'what's the best car under $50k?"

well what's your purpose?

if its headphones the SU1 is useless

it you need a remote the SU1 is useless

tell us your use case

What do you dislike about the Topping D10?
Old Post, but I'll answer that..... It is a USB input only DAC...... It has Optical and Coax, but they are ouputs, which for myself, I never use.

And the Line Outs are for TRS Cables, not RCA, as most Audiophiles Use.

SMSL PS200 for SE, probably slightly objectively better than SU-1 and adds BT

If USB input is enough Moondrop Dawn Pro is excellent, provides balanced out

I would check Onix Alpha for that price, but first I would approve the compatibility with Android devices

SMSL PO100AK is supposedly discontinued but i managed to buy one at alliexpress.

smsl M300SE, discounted price is 105$. It has xlr balanced output, 6.35+4.4mm dual headphone output, cs43131 chip*2. I think it is a perfect entry-level small DAC

Whilst it is good I wouldnt buy it if you're using unbalanced as it only has a 3.5mm stereo output and mine broke from the circuit board. Poor design imo. If using balanced output it is very nice, though.
