Best Bookshelf soundstage ?

[Teodore]

What are the bookshelfs that produce a large, wide, deep sound that can reliably represent a symphonic ensemble?
Mine (Epos Elan 10)works well with jazz, acoustics, chamber music, vocals.

For a large soundstage you‘d best be looking for a speaker with wide dispersion. Revels would be an obvious choice or, if your pockets are deep, maybe have a look at Amir‘s review of the Wilson Audio TuneTot.

Before upgrading speakers make sure you have experimented enough with placement, toe-in, room correction (EQ) and some room treatment (if your room is too echo-y). You can get a lot of improvement for free with these before spending the big bucks on speakers.

I wonder why floorstanders are not an option - if you use stands with them their footprint does not differ much. If you are actually putting the speakers on a bookshelf it might cause all kinds of issues by itself that can't be fixed with better speakers.
