I'm having some difficulties with my power conditioner,
I have moved to a house where I use solar power,
The conditioner was working ok for a long while but has a problem now,
I'm wondering if any one here might have a service manual for one of these,
Or if some one might walk me though a test ,
It has a amps being used display, I have never seen it go above 1amp under load but now just sitting plugged in winh nothing plugged in it is saying any where between 1.5 to 2.5 amps , the transformer seems noisy aswell,
The always on plugs are working but the switched out let's are not able to turn on,
I have a multi meter and osiliscope
Any ideas would be helpful
Mike

Chuck it in the e-waste and save yourself the headache would be my advice. Power conditioning isn't something you need.

Otherwise, you'll probably need to open it up (not plugged in, of course) and have someone familiar with electronics look at it.

You might need to solve a DC voltage on your mains. Which may be the root cause of your power conditioner issues, ironically.

Good call, but in that case still chuck the conditioner (which apparently can't even block DC) and get a cheap DC blocker. Although hopefully that isn't a sign of something wrong with the solar install causing DC to leak inappropriately into the house wiring. Might want to have an electrician check it.

Is there a way to check for dc in my mains supply? I have a multi meter, I also have a oscilloscope, but I have not used it for mains power ,
My multi meter has high voltage settings,
Mike

Please take a look at this article.

[Edit] If you want to measure AC mains voltage with an oscilloscope, make sure to use a high voltage differential probe rated for the voltage.
