2 days ago I bought the Behringer Ultracurve Pro used. I'll start by saying that it was working perfectly but I wanted to update it to firmware version 1.4 (currently 1.3 was installed) so I searched the internet for version 1.4 .syx and tried to load it via a midi interface (cme u6 midi pro) the loading was not successful. I lost the old version and now I can no longer use the Behringer. I tried using a PC with Windows XP then using Ubuntu then using Windows 10/11. I changed the various delay and buffer size settings on Midi Ox but nothing worked. Can anyone help me?

This might assist;
The bootloader can be used to reflash the firmware, even if a previous flash was unsuccessful (as long as the part of the flash holding the bootloader was untouched). The official firmware images never appear to touch the boot loader so these should never brick the device.

In the bootloader, the device responds over MIDI to a subset of the normal functions. It also identifies itself with the model DEQ2496V2 BOOTLOAD rather than the usual DEQ2496.
I assume you mean the Behringer Ultracurve Pro DEQ2496?
