20 days and counting without beer. (by choice)

Drinking whiskey like a baby on a t!t, though. (by choice)

Miss my beer.

*sighs
...and...
*pats self on back

Beer as water replacement is wrong. I know this. I love a good beer though. ;)

I drink a lot of club soda on ice these days. Carbonation and a touch of bitterish salts reminds you of beer. 10/10 would recommend.

I’m in Dogfishead territory, had a dicey draft of 60min. At a bourbon bar now, very good stuff. Not sure where next.

I do a lot of bubbles… if I need a combo, an Irish whiskey highball is my solution.

I love a lot if their beer, though their presence out here on the left side seems to have diminished over the past 10 years.
The Palo Santo Marin was an absolute favorite, as was the bitches brew offering the had for a while. Actually was in La/Hollywood area for a shortish stay about 8-9 years ago or so and found a bar that had the bitches brew on tap! That was an absolute delight.

If somebody still thinks, Bavarians can only brew Helles or Weizen. An absolut burst of flavors

I had a beer-cheat day yesterday and had some special releases from Moonlight.

9-5/16º P, a Czech Style Dark Lager, 4.1% ABV
Calcutta By Clipper, Pale Ale (a surprisingly light 3.9% brew, but very tasty nonetheless)

The Dark Lager was amazing. Hints of the roasty malts were prevalent without overpowering or otherwise distracting from the beer as a whole. Color and clarity was beautiful.

Sadly no photo of that to share.

Hoplark makes some nice carbonated tea+hops for those no alcohol times. Zero calories too. Whole Foods usually carries them.
