Beer thread, what you drinkin..

Blue Chimay and Glögg for dessert :-)

Until our local supermarket put them on sale, don't think they even carried them, but they've had a nice sale price and have been drinking them for a bit....an old buddy of mine, now passed, used to praise Widmer a lot which was part of my reason to try. I like 'em. https://www.widmerbrothers.com/beer/deadlift-imperial-ipa

It is my recollection that Portland, Oregon-based, Widmer Brothers popularized Hefeweizen beer in Seattle in the 1980's. Widmer Brothers is now owned by a company called 'Tilray' with a portfolio of other brands of 'craft' beers and products derived from cannabis. I am not certain, but I believe Tilray uses the Widmer brewery in Portland, Oregon to brew Widmer and other brands.

now enjoying.....

'The Tao of Manny' - West Coast-style IPA - a collaboration between Georgetown (Seattle) and 'pFriem' (Portland, OR) breweries.

Had a Lindemans Kriek Cherry today, a gift from a friend. Was alright. I don't drink like I used to.

My homebrew English golden ale. Crisp and bready!

Don't forget Hamm's

Stopped at a Polish deli in Albany (NY) today to get some "chewies" as my better half calls the dry hunters style sausage I have, occasionally with beer, and am trying a Warka using a small glass to slowly enjoy the flavor. Nice amber with a pronounced plum flavor action going on IMO
