It's breakfast beer if it is less than 6.5% and goes well with breakfast. Oh, and you open it before 10am.

Of course, if it's higher than, say, 7.5%... you're just a motivated alcoholic.

I've decided my own personal definition of beer has a clause that says if you cannot cruise through at least 3 pints of it an hour it's no longer beer. I do enjoy a strong Belgian sometimes, but it's a different drink.
