It's only Wednesday and not my favorite beer but at the ludicrous Lidl mark down price of 2.79 a 4pk I absconded with the six 4pks they had left.Thats 70 cents a btl for decent Belgian beer.My Belgian Xmas beers just got a temporary reprieve

Just finished a 4 pack of Rodenback Grand Cru. Sours are a great change of pace.

I love sours but a bit hard to find in Germany.I usually bring em back from Netherlands/Belgium when I go.They are even hard to find in Belgium, you gotta know where to go for the really good vintage/aged big bottle stuff and it's not cheap!

Never brewed myself.
Recently has a triple night. I made soemp sausage cooked in Chimay and we tried all the triples I could find. First time I’m doing this sort of thing, I was surprised how different each triple was.
Edit: forgot to mentioned the winner (by all 4 participants): St Bernardus! It was the first time I drank it. It was really surprising. I mean, their 12 is already one of the best beer in the world, can’t they leave the triple star for Karmeliet or Westmalle? Apparently not.

This led to some more interesting tasting and serious headache for a week though. I’m getting too old for this. The sausages were great though!

This evening, an imperial sour ale with Chet Baker. Life’s alright.

No beer since 1/1.
Cocktails this month...
Scaled back liquor consumption in Feb...
Dry in March...

I can drink most beer as water replacement. :)

That needs to stop. :D

Here's to responsible consumption!
