This one goes deep, it's a quite a challenging track for a system:

Hello I'm new here.
May be you already know this Quincy Jones's song, but the bass range and level are just crazy.
Must be listened on small volume to protect your speakers!

I've been surprised how bassy this track of rather "classic/easy listening" genre sounds (very pleasant though, kind of reference sounding with regards to voice as well). Spectrogram confirmes it goes to 32/33 Hz. Does anyone know from what source it might be?

that's indeed a surprising track

With some of these songs I think my elac debut reference dbr2 woofers going to explode.
The amount of air coming out from their front port is also insane.
My sub woofer same bounce like crazy.

Almost nothing to feel tactile wise though.

This can be a sign of:
poor sub integration?
not powerful speakers?
big room?
else?

Room modes, peaks and nulls in your room.

Most tracks in this thread are simply out of the league of small bookshelf speakers. Port is tuned much higher than the frequencies it's trying to reproduce so it creates nothing but dead air. Be advised that below tuning frequency of the port there's also insufficient damping to the woofer so it's at risk of exceeding it's linear excursion and mechanical limits. THD sky rockets as well and messes up sub integration.
To prevent this from happening, it is good to use a high pass filter and let the subwoofer take care of the lower frequencies...

I’ve put together a playlist on Tidal, covering many of the songs from this thread and a few bonus tracks from my own collection. Have fun and play at your own risk, some tracks have massive amounts of low bass.

Oh boy, playing some of these tracks really helps burning in my new monoprice monolith 15 v2 subs!

Try this:

One of my favorite double bass performances. Its all about the transients and visceral feel. Mind you, upper bass and mids on your system need to be capable as well and the lowest notes, well, see if these lift you off your chair.
