Does anyone have any experience with Sommer Cable Peacock Twin (Shotgun) Balanced Cable? I want to use it to make balanced splitter cables to connect my Topping EX5 to my iLoud MTMs and Presonus Sub8. And it looks ideal for my little project...
I currently have XLR to TRS cables going from my Topping EX5 on my desk, down through a cable snake to my Sub8 on the floor. I then have another set of TRS to TRS cables going from the Sub8 output back up through the cable snake up to the MTMs mounted on my standing desk.
Building a splitter cable would:
Thomann sell it a bit cheaper per metre, but they want £10 delivery, so it works out more for this small amount...

Building a splitter cable would:
- Reduce the number of cables run through the cable snake (it's a bit busy in there).
- Avoid sending the signal for my monitors through the Sub8 (which might be a bit noisy https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...ough-and-hpf-measurements.60664/#post-2221902).
- Give me a bit more play in my cables (the ones I use now are only just long enough).
