hi,
i'm plannig to make a cable for replace the stock sundara cable.
Basically its a 4 pin xlr splitting into 2 ts 3.5mm
My plan is to use two different cables from the xlr connector and keep them togheter for like 1m using heatshrink tube and then cover them into a protective sleeve, making them split for the last 40cm.

here is how i plan to connect them, i hope its correct, the ground ist not used on the headphones side:

i have some mogami w2893 avaiable, would that make a degradation in quality vs a normal balanced cable ? having 2 cables for each r+ ,r-,l+,l- ?

my last doubt is about making a 4pin female xlr into a trs 6.3mm jack as adaptor for connect to an umbalanced amp.
using this connections:

i followed this guides
https://robrobinette.com/BalancedCable.htm#Make_a_4-Pin_XLR__to_TRS_Plug_Adapter_Cable_

what makes me doubt a bit the adapor is like the need of connect the shield also to pin 2 and 4 in the xlr side, considering they ll be connected to the ground on the trs ground anyway, but maybe i ignore some benefit of it.

Sundara has separate sockets for each side. So to have XLR you need to remove the old cable and use the cable with 2 separate pairs - you MUST NOT rewire 3 wire cable to XLR - it does not work this way
