Balanced Amp and Unbalanced DAC

I own the Topping DX3pro dac and i just ordered the Drop + THX AAA™ 789 amp, are they a good pair to run the Sennheiser HD 58X Jubilee ? and is it better to use the 4 pin XLR or the TRS jacks ? (got both)

Sure although you may find that the DX3 Pro by itself may have been good enough. XLR jack will give you more power but I suspect you won't need it.

I personally think you should spend the $400 and upgrade to a better pair of headphones instead (not saying HD58x is bad). The sennheiser HD58X should be easily powered by the DX3 Pro, so there isn't that much need to upgrade the amp.
