Do I need to change some settings?

This is not the IR version, but a normal webcam, at least it doesn't state IR and IR LED illumination in the description.

The IR version typically have a ring of IR LEDs around the lense and a photo-diode.
Once illumination drops below a threshold, there is a click and the IR filter is removed and the LEDs turn on.

You can choose different field of view lenses.
Amazon calls it KLxxIR.
Be careful not to get a fisheye version

I've had the Stratos for a few months now. I bought it the day it was available.

I'm getting a slightly more expansive sound than I do with the BACCH/ORC. When I do the sound checks on the program, dog barking, I get the front and side channels, but only one of the rear channels. My speakers are tall, so I'm not getting a lot from the height speakers. Part of the problem may be that II sit on a sofa, so it is hard to turn around and keep my head in the same position for the rear speaker sweeps.

My XTC measurements are a little over 17 dB for both speakers. I was told by their local dealer that because they are so high that there's not much difference between the programs.

Was it worth the $1500? Maybe not, but I would have always wondered about it.

I don’t have atmos installed yet but I suspect that if you have a couch the reflection from it may be interfering somehow. I have a high back sofa and get 20-24db xtc but even small object behind my head can drop it significantly or make one channel have less xtc.

I get about a 12 inch sweetspot, so I don't bother with the headtracking.

How wide is your sweetspot without headtracking? The Sanders are much more directional than my speakers. But I can move my head from side to side and stay in the spot. Prior to BFM, I could bearing move my head.

That seems about right with other speakers. If I am getting 14db xtc with the sanders though it means something else is messed up as it’s usually higher.

There is probably about several inches to either side I can move my head in the sweet spot. One a tangent I saw a YouTube interview with Dr Choueiri and he stated with BACCH they have been able to get 2 sweet spots with one pair of speakers. This had been basically considered impossible before.
