Dear FMs,

I heard B&W M-1 last evening with Topping PA7 in a small carpeted room (10 x 11), it performed and sounded so good with or without subwoofer.
If you own or heard B&B M-1, how have you found those to be?

It looks treble is very high..

Those surely had a bit pronounced top end, never felt more than needed to us.
Cannot tell how those measurements were taken, but no standard measurements are available for these like others and no one probably bother doing that.
Thanks

Be aware that there are two versions M1 and M-1. The newer M-1's go a bit deeper but both have quite a lumpy response and quite exaggerated treble. They can sound ok with EQ (I use them as satellites and for Atmos).

Not sure why that thread is comparing them with the Kef R3s (they are surely in a totally different league).

Edit: On the M-1s the mesh covers the front, top and bottom. The M1s have mesh on the front but rubber top and bottom.

I thought the M1 was a sports car.
