This was a super dark room. I have brightened the images substantially. Contrasting with the dark and uninviting room, was a very pleasant host that gave me the ipad to pick what I wanted to play.

They played an LP rip that sounded very nice but dragged down by some groove noise.

The Dynaudio Evidence Platinum speakers did well and the overall sound was quite nice.

Ok, I think I finally figured out the tower thing between the tower amps is the preamp.

I'm $peechless$$.

C'mon now, everyone knows $11.5k for the power supply for a network player, is the bare minimum for decent fidelity.

Naim seems to be a mob that either gets it mighty right, or all wrong. The two locals who get very good sound both use Naim - yet at the Sydney show the Naim room was appallingly bad - everything that will put a casual passerby off "hifi" forever, the overdone PA in the pub type of thing ...
