Which is one reason I’ve played this album so much. lol.

It was the first of her trilogy exploring black female music. I’d also recommend her latest album, which came out a week or so ago: “My world is the sun”. It might not become any retailer’s demo album but it has her effortless groove and voice.

Every so often I get it in my head that we need Quads. Came really close to buying a pair of newly restored ESL-63s from Sheldon Stokes a few years ago.

Then I see them or mock up their dimensions and realize how wide they are. And discard the idea because they don’t fit.

Still always seem to sound great though.
