The best version of KD Lang Hallelujah in my opinion is when she sang it at the Leonard Cohen - Tower of Song Live Tribute Nov 2017 (HQ - 720p HDTV), Montreal. This is the most heartfelt and powerful version.
It was never officially released publicly but was transmitted live at the time. I only have an MP4 video download taken from this. It was on YouTube but now seems to be taken down.
Lots of other great artists on this including Sting, Adam Cohen, Lana Del Ray, Damien Rice, Leonard's band including backing singers Webb Sisters and Sharon Robinson.
Great shame this was never released.
Further investigation it was released in 2021 but only limited to 5000 copies on Blu-ray as a fundraiser as part of a special box set at $350 US. Sorry I missed this one.
