In the past, I have heard the Phantoms playing casually in open halls and such. This was the first time in a room:

It was startling at times how loud and deep these speakers play!

Sounded OK.

Very cool track. Incredible dynamics. Sounds superb on my headphones as well.

Incredible bass. Strangely the bass sounds somewhat distorted on my headphones. Have to listen on my speakers later.

Another amazing bass performance. Give this room operator some good credit for picking such fitting music!

I heard one of these in a clothing store. I thought it was pretty incredible the sound stage and bass a single unit could produce

@amirm Love/hate the looks of these guys, but so much appreciate your thoughts. Hope you’re having fun and thanks to ASR for all you’re doing. If I had a modern looking space and they measure nice, these could be a really nice option.

I've had a listen of a single phantom II in an open space, I was underwhelmed but the conditions weren't good.
The Ultimates 108 dB retail for about 3800€/piece in the EU and seem to pack a punch, I think these are the ones presented here. There's also the ultimates 98 dB at 1500€/piece.

They look a bit like the spaceship used by the Emperor's emissaries in *Dune*

Or perhaps the director was inspired by the design of the speakers

Your comments made me notice the stands are pretty cool too.
Tree Phantom Ultimate is their little name.
399$/€ a piece is their fat price.

I've only heard any Phantom speakers once, they were set up outside a shop in an airport near the ceiling, so not exactly ideal listening conditions. Being known for lots of bass from a small enclosure is definitely not a bad place to be in the market...

Never heard them but based on those measurements they should sound really good. Would like to see how linear they are above 90dB at a couple of meters.

The room I heard them in, when I offered up a song to hear the host turned volume past clipping, drove a couple other guests out of their seats and seemed a bit oblivious that he was overcooking them.
