Hi! Ask your questions here; everyone will be interested. Unless, of course, your project is commercial.
Sorry for the late reply, I was on a long business trip to another country.
Hi! Sorry, my exam season just started so I havent had much time to play around and work on side projects.
In the meantime I already ordered PCBs from JLCPCB. I made the first version as kind of a demo board, and I will be connecting inputs and outputs with wires. Not ideal I know, but it should allow me to test thing before designing the real deal. I wanted to ask about reference ADC, since there isnt much info about it in the datasheet. How should I connect it and if there are any special settings in the registers. Also in general I would like to know if you got register dump from somewhere or if you did the tuning by yourself.
Then when it comes to power stage I thought about going with EPC23102, but it seems to require high and low PWM signal with dead time. How did you get around that? I also designed a power stage board with ISG3206LA, which seems to have integrated protection and shouldnt need dead time. I generated 2 opposite PWMs by passing them through XOR gates, since I havent found if it is possible to generate them in the amp directly.
The third board I designed is a DSP, ADAU1467 from Analog devices. That should allow me to play around with sound in Sigma studio.
I also had some random ideas about doing multi active speaker systems using A2B chips, which would for using only one twisted pair to connect them, and then there is an option to go with CC8530 from TI, which can transfer high quality audio wirelessly.
In any case, boards should be here soon, so I will probably play around more with them next month after I deal with the exams
