Hi all,
Im looking to build a fairly basic power amp. I would though like to possibly add some additional passive functionality, most likely with a microcontroller, for things like motorised volume control and input selection.
Is there a common way to tap off a second power source of say 5v to run these elements, without having to run in a secondary USB power cable or something?
Would a step down converter from the power supplies second output work?
I have a 3e board on order (I understand older versions had 12v aux output but not current one), and this basic 48v power supply on order
Thanks all!
